Sunday 24th June to Sunday 8th July 2018
The Scottish Institute for Business and Communication (SCIBC) at Heriot-Watt University is running a two week Summer Exchange Programme to its partner, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TUFE) in Tianjin, China. This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are interested in Chinese language, history and culture.
The successful candidates will be spending the mornings in classrooms learning Chinese language from experienced language tutors. They will also be taking part in Chinese calligraphy classes, tea ceremonies, playing Chinese musical instruments and attending lectures. In the afternoons and weekends there will have the opportunity to visit historical and cultural sites.
Find out what the SCIBC Summer Exchange Programme is like from a student's point of view by reading Jessica Doyle's blog post. Jessica took part in the Programme in 2016.
All the students who are attending this year's Summer Camp are from our Edinburgh and Dubai campuses. There will be updates on our twitter page, https://twitter.com/Confucius_HWU, and also on our webpage.
SCIBC are covering all the cots for the language classes, accommodation, meals and transport within China, all the successful students have to do is organize their flights and appropriate Chinese Visa. This is a fantastic opportunity for them and we look forward to hearing about the trip.
